Back in LA!

that is all.

rah rah rah.

took some rough sketches through some passes with tracing paper to try and "plus" a drawing...

I think I wanna play around with some simpler shapes and more varied proportions. I dunno, what do you think?

Rut Rut Rut

I realized I've been posting some really boring crap and I hate it so here's a few throwaway partially completed paintings from a year ago that I never posted.

I want to really jam out artistically, but this job is killing my buzz something fierce.

EMP thumbnails raaaawwwrr!!

Here's some thumbnails for my Earth Monkey Prime short. First pass, unfinished, super rough, straight to pen. I'm going to re-do these and change the story up a bit, so here are the throwaway thumbs. Enjoy. BTW, at the end, EMP is shooting the monster from off-screen just to clear up any confusion.

So as a therapeutic way to relieve the anxiety and stress of living in the 10 circle of hell, Iza showed me some Gauche stuff and I've taken to doing some painting of my own. I really like it! Much easier to control than acrylic and working small gives me a sense of instant gratification that I need to overcome extreme boredom. If you've seen Iza's blog, then you know he can paint his ass off. He did 10 pieces over this weekend alone! Granted he's got 2 years on me and I've just started painting, but I really wanna catch up to him. These 3 aren't the greatest but they're a start. lemme know what you think.

Yeah, it's been a while. I'm in Canada and HATING every moment of it. I have no internet so despite drawing everyday I really have no way of bringing them here, to you, the 3 people that might occasionally browse this blog. But trust me, the drawings you are not seeing are all masterpieces that would blow your mind and would inspire droves of animation wannabes throughout the industry and spark a revolution. Or they just might suck. Whatever. You'll never seen them! HA!

Oh yeah, I was apologizing for not updating. Right.... Sorry folks.
